Next SW District Ag Agents Meeting

McDowell County - Friday, June 1

The tentative agenda is:

  9:30-10:00 Meet and Refreshments (Old Fort Recreation Park, Old Fort)

  10:15 Ellis Farm tour (livestock)

  10:45 McEntire Farm tour (agritourism)

  11:30 Lunch catered by the McEntire's

  12:15 Business meeting

  1:15 Softball practice (Old Fort Recreation Center)

The Old Fort Recreation Center is located on Catawba River Road.  Going
West on I-40, Take the Old Fort exit (Exit # 73).  Turn Left at the
bottom of the ramp.  Turn Right on Catawba River Road.  (If you have
gone past McDonald's, you have gone too far).  Follow Catawba River
Road.  You will see a park and ball fields on the Left.

We will have a van for easy transport to the tours.
